Abstract
financieramente.
There is a limited supply of educational loans with low interest rates in Peru. This has generated inequality in opportunities for professional development among promising youth with low resources. As a result, the economy, development and level of competitiveness in Peru are stagnant compared to others. The strict requirements to access personal credit and the lack of support from the government have resulted in many talented young people seeing the dream of becoming professionals as unattainable. Many of these youths, in search of money, have informally entered to the labor market, as formal companies typically require at least a graduate from an institute or university. Likewise, many of them have become accustomed to generating their own income, setting aside their professional aspirations, which in the future translates into an unskilled population, increasing poverty rates in the country. In response to this issue, the creation of a fintech named Social Tech is proposed. Through the use of the "Qullqui" application, educational loans will be provided at low interest rates to promising young individuals in the country. This process will establish connections between students and institutions, alumni associations and educational institutions willing to offer them a loan to start or complete their studies, driven the interest of gaining profits from the lent money; as well as being socially responsible with the country. The project has been proposed with a 10 years investment horizon. An initial equity capital of $ 204 thousand dollars. An annual gross margin of 5.5% on funds obtained from investors and sponsors. The client portfolio growth is proyected at 50% annually during the first 5 years, and after this period, it will be 5%. The company maintains a capital structure of 5.5% on the total credits. Based on this, we achieve an internal rate of return of 92%, leading us to the conclusion that the project is financially viable.
