The main objective of the present study was to contribute to the understanding of countertransference and it´s relation with the therapist subjectivity, this from the relationship patterns of a therapist with her significant others and with her patients. To achieve this, different ways of understanding the term countertransference and their relationship with the therapist subjectivity were reviewed. This is a systematic single-case study, whose participating subject was a therapist. Through the method of the Core Conflictual Relationship Theme Method (CCRT), the repetitive elements in the relational configuration of the therapist with their significant figures and with their patients were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the relational configurations of the therapist with the different objects, it was evident that the relational configurations that the therapist maintains with her parents are present in the relational configurations with her patients, which shows elements of the therapist's own subjectivity in the countertransference. Although a repetition of different elements was found in the countertransference, it was also found a capacity of the therapist, through the analytical setting, to respond differently to her patients, which allowed her to adequately work with the countertransference and encourage transformations in the relationship with her patients.
