El artista dionisíaco como respuesta al mundo contemporáneo, o sobre la validez de la estética de Nietzsche en el siglo XXI

Abstract

The following paper outlines an analysis of Nietzschean aesthetics with the purpose of strengthening its pertinence for a contemporary perspective, based on the premise that the untimely and reactive nature of art turns it into a powerful resource in the face of a landscape whose value system is unfavorable and incongruent. Thus, Nietzsche’s notions of art and Dionysian artist offer a direct solution to the large-scale hostility caused by the many deficiencies of 21st-century burnout society, as understood by Byung-Chul Han.

El presente artículo esboza un análisis de la estética nietzscheana con el objetivo de afianzar su pertinencia para una mirada contemporánea, esto bajo el postulado de que la naturaleza intempestiva y reactiva del arte convierte a este en un recurso contundente ante un panorama cuyo sistema valorativo es desfavorable e incongruente. Así, las nociones de arte y artista dionisíaco de Nietzsche plantean una solución directa a la hostilidad que suponen a gran escala las varias deficiencias de la sociedad del cansancio del siglo XXI, tal y como la entiende Byung-Chul Han.
