La empresa Avíos Andinos S. A. se fundó en el año 1964 en Lima, Perú, está ubicada
en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho (SJL) y se dedica a la fabricación de botones y
piezas de bisutería en material poliéster y botones de coco, madera y tagua. El producto
principal es el botón en material poliéster, gestiona sus procesos a través del Sistema de
Gestión de Calidad (SGC) ISO 9001 y tiene como política de calidad buscar la mejora
continua de sus operaciones con la finalidad de satisfacer a sus clientes tanto internos como
externos. Los botones se comercializan en “gruesas” que es igual a 144 unidades. La empresa
abastece a dos tipos de cliente: (a) distribuidores, los cuales comercializan el botón de forma
independiente después de adquirirlos y solicitan diseños comunes o clásicos que se producen
en lotes de miles de gruesas; y (b) confeccionistas locales, quienes usan los botones para
adherirlos a las prendas que confeccionan para sus clientes, ya sea de mercado nacional o
internacional y requieren diseños cuyo patrón es solicitado por ellos mismos o propuestos por
la empresa.
La empresa aplica el postponement en la producción de diseños clásicos de los cuales
mantiene un stock para después teñirlos o grabarlos y poder atender pedidos de botones en
diferentes colores y logos cuando el mercado así lo requiera. Esto se aplica entendiendo que
en el negocio textil la moda, el tiempo, la estación y otros factores cambian de manera
constante lo que afecta a las características de los avíos que llevan las prendas, en este caso,
los botones. Algunas de sus ventajas competitivas son la calidad, la variedad de diseños que
produce y la flexibilidad de los volúmenes de pedidos que atiende; su objetivo es ofrecer
también una ventaja en los tiempos de entrega y tener en un periodo no mayor a dos años
lead time de producción que se ajusten a la necesidad inmediata del mercado y poder atender
el pedido de un cliente confeccionista en un tiempo máximo de una semana
Avíos Andinos S. A. was founded in 1964 in Lima, Peru. It’s located in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho (SJL) and is dedicated to buttons and bijouterie manufacturing in polyester and coconut, wood and tagua material buttons. The main product is the polyester button; it manages its processes through the Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001 and its quality policy is to seek the continuous improvement of its operations to satisfy its customers both internal and external. The buttons are sold in "thick" that is equal to 144 units. The company caters to two types of customers: (a) distributors, which sell the button independently after purchasing and request common or classic designs that occur in lots of thousands of thick; and (b) local confectionist, who use the buttons to adhere them to the garments they sell for their clients, whether domestic or international, and require designs whose pattern is requested by them or proposed by the company. The company applies the postponement in the production of classic designs of which it maintains a stock to later dye or engrave them and to be able to attend orders of buttons in different colors and logos when the market so requires. This is applied understanding that in the textile business the Fashion, weather, season and others constantly change which affects the characteristics of the accoutrements that wear the garments in this case the buttons. Some of their competitive advantages are the quality, the variety of designs that it produces and the flexibility in the volumes of orders that it attends; its objective is to also offer an advantage in times of delivery and to have in a period no longer than two years lead time of production that fit the immediate need of the market and to be able to attend the order of a client confectionist in a maximum time of one week
