trabajadores.
This research paper explains which are the determinants of labor productivity for the case of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in Metropolitan Lima for the years 2015 to 2018. The importance of delving into this topic lies in the fact that MSEs in Peru dynamize the economy through employment and production. Likewise, it is relevant to be able to analyze labor productivity in Peru due to the fact that a large part of the companies are characterized by low productivity, such as the service and agriculture sectors, and a large percentage of EAP in them. The analysis will be of panel type and will mainly use data from the National Survey of Enterprises (ENE) for the years from 2015 to 2018 prepared by PRODUCE. The estimation is based on the maximum likelihood model and shows that the main factors that determine higher labor productivity of MSEs are: financing, innovation and training of the owner and workers.
