Desde que comenzó la necesidad por comunicar los servicios de una empresa a los
consumidores, aparecieron diferentes formas para lograrlo. Una de estas son las estrategias
publicitarias. Es aquí donde nace la oportunidad que tienen las agencias de publicidad de
ofrecer sus servicios para lograr cubrir estas necesidades y comenzar a ganar la mayor cantidad
de clientes como les sea posible. El encargado de realizar esta labor es el ejecutivo de cuentas,
quién a través de su correcta gestión, puede hacer que la cartera de clientes de su agencia crezca.
Lo que se busca analizar con esta investigación, es la forma en la que estas estrategias son
utilizadas por los ejecutivos de cuentas, pero, en especial, cómo es que son interpretadas por
las expertas de marketing, quienes son las profesionales que representan a la marca con la que
se quiere trabajar. El objetivo principal de este trabajo de suficiencia profesional es determinar
si existe una relación significativa entre la captación de clientes y las estrategias de los
ejecutivos de cuentas en las agencias de publicidad. Con esto, se busca dar un primer paso hacia
entender cuál es la forma en la que estos tipos de procedimientos sobre la captación de clientes
son utilizados y, al mismo tiempo, tener una referencia para los comunicadores que deseen
formar su propia agencia de publicidad. La conclusión de este trabajo es que sí existe una
relación significativa entre las estrategias que se plantean los ejecutivos de cuentas y la
captación de cuentas nuevas para la agencia de publicidad en la que trabajan.

With this, it seeks to take a first step towards understanding how these types of procedures on customer acquisition are used and, at the same time, have a reference for communicators who wish to form their own advertising agency. The conclusion of this work is that there is a significant relationship between the strategies that account executives consider and the acquisition of new accounts for the advertising agency in which they work.
