Indicadores de cambio de salud mental comunitaria en personas afectadas por violencia social en contexto post-conflicto armado interno en Cusco

Resumen
Este estudio presenta los resultados de la investigación sobre indicadores de salud mental
comunitaria con profesionales del área, buscando conocer los cambios que se han generado
en las personas afectadas por el conflicto armado interno en Cusco, tras haber pasado por
algún tipo de intervención en salud mental. Se trabajó con 12 profesionales en salud mental
de la provincia de Cusco, con experiencia en diferentes tipos de intervenciones en salud
mental. Se utilizaron como técnicas de recolección de datos la entrevista semiestructurada y
el grupo focal para validar los resultados preliminares. Se obtuvieron siete categorías que
sintetizan los indicadores de cambio de salud mental comunitaria que evidencian el cambio
de las personas afectadas por el conflicto armado interno, tras las intervenciones realizadas.
Dichos indicadores son: muestra conductas autoprotectoras, evidencia preocupación por sí
mismo, desarrolla su empoderamiento, mejora sus vínculos, valora su identidad, practica la
solidaridad, y participa social y políticamente.
This study presents the results of research on indicators of community mental health professionals in the area, seeking to know the changes that have been generated in people who had been affected by the internal armed conflict in Cusco, after going through some type of mental health intervention .We worked with 12 mental health professionals in the province of Cusco, with experience in different types of mental health interventions. They were used as data collection techniques of semi-structured interviews and focus group to validate the preliminary results. Seven categories that summarize the mental health indicators that show the change of people affected by the internal armed conflict, following the interventions that we provided. These indicators are: displays self-protective behaviors, evidence concern itself, develops their empowerment, improve their relationships, value their identity, practicing solidarity, and socially and politically involved.
