Resumen
La investigación se centra en la competencia digital docente de los alumnos de la Facultad
de Educación de una universidad privada. El interés es conocer dicho nivel que y describir
sus características más relevantes
El problema de investigación es el siguiente: ¿Cuál es el nivel de competencia digital de
los alumnos de los últimos ciclos de la Facultad de Educación de una universidad privada?
El objetivo general es analizar la competencia digital de los alumnos de pregrado para lo
cual establecemos dos objetivos específicos: identificar la competencia digital y describir el
nivel de esta en alumnos de pregrado.
El estudio es de tipo cualitativo y corresponde a un nivel descriptivo que tiene como fin
caracterizar la competencia digital de un grupo de alumnos. La investigación utilizó, en
primer lugar, una encuesta online sobre competencias digitales docentes y posteriormente,
se realizó la observación no participante en la que los alumnos ponen en práctica dichas
competencias durante una actividad educativa.
Los resultados del cuestionario online indican que los alumnos demuestran un nivel
intermedio de dicha competencia que se confirma durante la observación del recurso
educativo. Sin embargo, se observa que hay oportunidad de desarrollo en la preparación
de contenidos digitales en referencia a su variedad, complejidad y adaptación al contexto
educativo; asimismo que es necesario el uso de derechos de autor como práctica
permanente.
The research focuses on the digital teaching competence of students from the Faculty of Education of a private university. The interest is to know such level and describe its most relevant characteristics The research problem is as follows: What is the level of digital competence of students from the last cycles of the Faculty of Education of a private university? The overall objective is to analyze the digital competence of undergraduate students for which we set two specific objectives: to identify the digital competence and to describe its level in undergraduate students. The study is of qualitative type and corresponds to a descriptive level which aims to characterize the digital competence of a group of undergraduate students. The research used, firstly, an online survey on teaching digital competencies and subsequently, a nonparticipant observation was conducted in which students put such competencies into practice during an educational activity. The results of the online questionnaire indicate that students demonstrate an intermediate level of such competence which is confirmed during observation of the educational resource. However, it is noted that there is opportunity for development in the preparation of digital content with reference to its variety, complexity and adaptation to the educational context; likewise, that the use of copyright as a permanent practice is necessary.
