Abstract
bienestar emocional, tenga mayores habilidades sociales y posea conductas
Attachment is one of the most important themes of early childhood, since, according to it, the infant will develop, either positively or negatively. Therefore, the present documentary investigation entailed a review of different academic sources such as articles, theses and books, so that the most relevant and pertinent information could be selected. Then, two matrices (bibliographic and systematization) were created with the use of textual citations of the reviewed sources, in order to organize the information through the common ideas that were identified. The above contributed to the creation of two sections, which are: understanding attachment in early childhood and the importance of secure attachment in early childhood. Also, to finalize the state of the art, some reflections were formulated that intend to respond to the aim of this study in a succinct way. Among them, it is explained that secure attachment allows the infant to develop emotional well-being, have greater social skills and have positive and healthy behaviors. Consequently, this will allow him/her to function effectively in his/her environment, establish healthy and lasting relationships with others, and be able to manage his/her emotions when faced with unexpected situations. In addition, secure attachment allows infants to create positive bonds with members of their family, members of their school, etc.
