Resumen
En esta investigación, se busca analizar el papel que cumple la Integral Definida en la
formación de estudiantes de Ingeniería Química de la Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz
Gallo, en la que se identifican praxeologías en las que interviene la Integral Definida y que
se desarrollan en la disciplina matemática y en la disciplina intermediaria con la profesión,
estableciendo conexiones y diferencias entre las praxeologías identificadas en las diversas
organizaciones analizadas.
Para ello, se analizan textos de los cursos de matemáticas y de la especialidad, teniendo en
cuenta elementos teóricos de la Teoría Antropológica de lo Didáctico que permiten describir
una organización matemática, en la que se identifican tipos de tareas, técnicas, tecnologías y
teorías que sustentan los procedimientos llevados a cabo, donde el uso de la Integral Definida
tiene representaciones diferentes y sus significados son desde el margen de la disciplina
intermediaria con la profesión.
Para la consecución de nuestro objetivo, se procedió, como primera etapa, identificar y
realizar un análisis de los textos de matemáticas, lo que nos permitió ver el significado global
de la Integral Definida a través de un estudio epistemológico para identificar el modelo
praxeológico de la Integral Definida en la institución de enseñanza de la matemática.
La segunda etapa, sirvió para identificar y realizar el análisis de los textos de las disciplinas
intermediarias con la profesión, en la que se consultó a expertos con la finalidad de recoger
información sobre los usos de la Integral Definida en su campo de acción, lo que nos
posibilitó poner de manifiesto los significados, interpretaciones y argumentaciones realizadas

desde su propia institución de enseñanza de disciplinas intermediarias y así identificar el
modelo praxeológico de los usos de la Integral Definida.
La investigación muestra cómo estos modelos praxeológicos identificados sustentan el
ámbito de la actividad matemática que está en juego, de tal manera que se identifica las
matemáticas a enseñar, específicamente aquellos temas en donde se debe poner mayor
énfasis, ya que son fundamentales e importantes para los estudiantes de Ingeniería Química
en su formación profesional. Asimismo, falta considerar los tipos de tareas específicos donde
los estudiantes encuentren una conexión directa con los cursos de las disciplinas
intermediarias, para que consideren y valoren la utilidad de la Integral Definida para resolver
los tipos de tareas que se presentan en su entorno profesional, viendo de esta manera por qué
y para qué estudian la Integral Definida.
In this investigation, we seek to analyze the role of the integral definition in the training of students of Chemical Engineering of the National University Pedro Ruiz Gallo, in which praxeologies are identified in which the integral definition intervenes and which is considered in the discipline Mathematics and intermediary discipline with the profession, establishing connections and differences between the praxeologies identified in the various organizations analyzed. To do this, analyze the texts of the mathematics and specialty courses, taking into account the theoretical elements of the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic that a mathematical organization can specify, in which the types of tasks, techniques, technologies and theories that support the procedures carried out, where the use of the integral definition has different representations and their meanings from the margin of the intermediary discipline with the profession. To achieve our goal, the procedure, as a first stage, identify and perform an analysis of the mathematics texts, which identifies us to see the global meaning of the Defined Integral through an epistemological study to identify the praxeological model of the Defined integral in the institution of mathematics teaching. The second stage, served to identify and perform the analysis of the texts of the intermediary disciplines with the profession, in which experts will be consulted with the determination to gather information on the uses of the Defined Integral in their field of action, which It allowed us to highlight the meanings, interpretations and arguments made from its own institution of vii teaching intermediate disciplines and thus identify the praxeological model of the uses of the Defined Integral. The research shows how these identified praxeological models support the scope of the mathematical activity that is at stake, in such a way that the mathematics to be taught is identified, specific topics where greater emphasis should be placed, since they are fundamental and important for students of Chemical Engineering in their professional training. In the same way, it is necessary to consider the types of specific tasks where the students find a direct connection with the courses of the intermediary disciplines, so that they consider and value the utility of the integral definition to solve the types of tasks that are in their professional environment, seeing in this way why and why they study the Definite Integral.
