Abstract
Language is one of the capacities that human beings have to communicate and relate to others, thanks to this process they can express their emotions and needs. However, children are currently showing difficulties in the development of their language, which prevents them from relating adequately with the environment that surrounds them. The objective of this case study is to design an assessment and intervention plan to contribute to the development and improvement of language skills presented by a 4-year-old child with difficulties in the form and content of language. Language difficulties prevent being understood or communicating your message to others, hence the importance of the case study. The hybrid intervention model is followed, linguistic models were used not only so that the child can respond but also to model the linguistic forms that he wishes to express. The results show achievements in the realization of simple instructions of an action + an object + location, in the verbalization of simple sentences of the subject - verb - object type, as well as improvement in the intelligibility of their expressions when emitting words of 2 syllables respecting their metry and could also emit the phoneme /s/. It is concluded that the intervention plan helped to improve the child's interaction with his closest environment, showing advances in the semantic lexical, morphosyntactic and phonetic-phonological components.
