Abstract
The present research arises from the recognition of the importance of emotions and emotional regulation of primary level teachers and the interest to demonstrate it in school coexistence with students. This qualitative and descriptive study aims to identify the emotions of teachers, related to the coexistence that is generated during the sessions of Social Personnel of third grade of Primary Education of an educational institution of the Constitutional Province of Callao. It also aims to analyze the strategies of emotional regulation that teachers use in the development of school coexistence, from the perspective of emotional competencies. Two primary-level teachers are interviewed in response. The results confirm that educational emotional regulation fosters a coexistence in harmony with their peers; as well as a favorable interaction between students, based on positive and neutral emotions that encourage respect, empathy, interest and affection; that is, it coexists from the regulation of positive emotions in the classroom.
