The objective of this research is to evaluate the psychometric properties in virtual environments of the Peruvian short version of the MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventory in Metropolitan Lima for children from 2 to 2.6 years old. This research is instrumental and cross-sectional, for which the sample was collected through an online form, gathering those responses that met the inclusion criteria. The adapted version was evaluated and approved by a group of experts. The results showed that the adapted test allows to obtain reliable results; the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was 0.984. Likewise, an principal component analysis was carried out to determine the construct validity of the instrument. It was concluded that the adapted version meets the psychometric properties necessary to evaluate the communicative development represented by vocabulary and syntax in children from 2 years to 2.6 years
