Los intereses comunes son el vínculo más sólido entre los pueblos, en el que se unen naciones con similitudes, económicas, culturales, políticas y jurídicas. En efecto, una vez finalizado el conflicto Este-Oeste, la guerra del Golfo y la disolu-ción de la Unión Soviética, se ha modificado el nuevo contexto internacional. La globalización de la economía mundial ha sufrido una evolución que depende principalmen-te de los círculos concéntricos de integración que vienen desarrollándose en los distintos continentes; ésta situación, esta llevando a afrontar cambios estructurales y procesos de in-tegración de mayor o menor alcance, es decir un futuro de bloques económicos interdependientes están surgiendo y otros consolidandose. En cualquier caso, lo que no cabe duda es que estos se orientan a abrir sus fronteras, y que en la practica están dejando de existir para dar paso al libre transito de capitales, bienes, servicios y personas y se esta poniendo en cuestión diferentes conceptos como Nación-Estado e interés nacional.
