Reconocimiento e idealización del sujeto : ¿realiza Honneth un cambio sustancial con respecto a la interpretación habermasiana?

En este artículo busco problematizar las interpretaciones que ha tenido el concepto de reconocimiento dentro de la tradición de la teoría crítica alemana, en particular, las diferencias que hay entre la interpretación que ofrece Axel Honneth y la elaborada por Jürgen Habermas. Se trata de compartir algunas conclusiones que componen una investigación mayor que he llevado adelante sobre estos dos autores alemanes. Comprender la relación entre estos dos programas de investigación es un desafío muy atractivo, desde mi punto de vista, por dos motivos: por un lado, porque ambos postularon sus teorías como intentos de renovación de la teoría crítica, compartiendo el objetivo de señalar un modo de trascendencia inmanente para la crítica social y, por otro, porque Honneth propone su programa como mejor alternativa a la renovación habermasiana. Cómo concebir y evaluar la relación entre ambos es una pregunta profunda que no puedo abordar aquí exhaustivamente, por lo que tomaré solo algunos aspectos de cara a una respuesta. Las preguntas que quiero plantear aquí son las siguientes: ¿Qué diferencia hay entre la forma en que Honneth considera el reconocimiento y la forma inicial que dicho concepto toma en Habermas? ¿El distanciamiento explícito del primer autor respecto al segundo implica también un alejamiento en la forma de concebir el «reconocimiento intersubjetivo»?
