Ítem Texto completo enlazado Adjustment of the relative position of compliant joints within a monolithic mechanism(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2019-09-27) Pomiano Picon, Victor Arturo; Theska, René; Barriga Gamarra, Eliseo Benjamín; Darnieder, MaximilianThe sensitivity of electromagnetic force compensated weighing cells can be enhanced by adjusting the relative distance between two specific joints in its mechanism. However, owing to the difficulties of the adjustment of the flexure hinge position in the compliant mechanism, this adjustment option has not yet been realized. In this scientific thesis, an adjustment device was developed. This adjustment device can be integrated into an EMFC weighing cell and allows adjustments while the balance is in operation. To this end, the guideline VDI 2221 was applied in the design process to develop possible concept solutions. The most suitable option was selected by a technical-economic analysis. The technical realization of the selected solution concept was elaborated based on design guidelines and model equations. The adjustment device was designed to work under a tensile force of up to 15 N. A finite element analysis was performed to evaluate the operation of the adjustment device. This analysis demonstrates the feasibility of the device to shift the flexure hinge within a displacement range of 6 mm. The numerical analysis reveals an angular deflection up to 7.2 arcsec perpendicular to the rotational axis of the adjusted joint. Based on the original model, geometry variations of certain components were investigated to identify optimization possibilities. It was found that the angular distortion can be diminished by a more symmetric setup, especially concerning the linear guide.Ítem Texto completo enlazado Optical system to observe an measure the spectra of a light emitting substrate and plasma in a RF magnetron(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2017-09-06) Andreas Lich, Julian; Theska, René; Weingärtner, RolandTo obtain spectra of a light emitting substrate during the deposition of Terbium (Tb) doped thin films by RF magnetron sputtering, an optomechanical device is developed, constructed and tested. The device is required to enable spatial scans of the substrate plane and the plasma beneath. Thereby, measurements of spatial emission intensity distribution and a separation of the Tb spectrum from the plasma-overlain substrate spectrum shall be possible. After an introduction into theoretical and practical boundary conditions, the system’s requirements are specified, followed by a brief investigation of existing solutions for similar problems. A basic optical prototype system is introduced and analysed. After a discussion and evaluation of part solutions, an optomechanical system is developed, constructed, analysed and compared to the prototype system.Ítem Texto completo enlazado Design of a counter torque device used in a torque standard machine = Erzeugung des gegendrehmoments in einer drehmoment-normalmesseinrichtung(Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2017-03-09) Pino Samalvides, Eduardo Anibal; Theska, René; Alencastre Miranda, Jorge Hernán; Winter, SimonIn the last years, the increase in the need of higher accuracy in science, research and technology in precision engineering created an obligation to produce a new torque standard machine for precise measurement of torque. This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a Counter Torque Device which will be used in a new Torque Standard Machine based on moving mass developed in the faculty of precision engineering at the TU Ilmenau. This new Torque Standard Machine must have a measuring range from 1 mNm to 1 Nm and a lower relative uncertainty Ur :S 1x1O-5 (k = 2). In order to achieve this aim, the fundamentals and the state of the art are shown at the beginning of the thesis. After the specific requirements are compiled in a requirements list, then based on physical and technical principles different possible solutions are developed and evaluated, from this evaluation optimal solution is founded, implemented and tested.
