The present article investigates the effect of the "Profe Plus" application on the development of generic competencies in undergraduate students. The methodology included activities in each class, divided into two stages. In the first stage, students individually responded to a question related to the class topic presented by the instructor. In the second stage, they gathered with their peers to confirm or change their answers. The results from both stages were sent through the "Profe Plus" app using mobile devices. The study was conducted with a sample of 75 students, and data was collected through initial and final surveys after seven classes. The results, obtained from ad-hoc surveys, showed a positive impact of the "Profe Plus" application on the development of students’ generic competencies. However, significant differences were found in some competencies. Throughout the study, it was observed that the application provided an interactive environment for the development of skills such as problem-solving, group collaboration, and making informed decisions.
