Resumen
El presente documento desarrolla el Planeamiento Estratégico para Ransa
Centroamérica (CAM). Este planeamiento tiene como objetivo constituirse como una
herramienta integral que permita la toma de decisiones estratégicas para la organización y al
mismo tiempo sirva de guía frente al crecimiento de la industria. Ransa CAM ofrece servicios
diversos en el sector logístico, entre los cuales destacan el servicio de almacenaje,
distribución y transporte. La empresa ha llegado a consolidarse en el sector logístico de
Centroamérica a través de un servicio personalizado y soluciones ágiles que respondan a las
necesidades específicas de sus clientes. Actualmente, la organización cuenta con grandes
posibilidades de crecimiento, las cuales se hallan sustentadas por buenas prácticas gerenciales
respaldadas por su casa matriz el Grupo Romero.
A nivel de metodología, la presente investigación cumple con el modelo de
Planeamiento Estratégico Razonado planteado por el Dr. Fernando D’Alessio Ipinza, el cual
respalda la teoría y metodología desarrolladas en la presente investigación. La propuesta
planteada está fundamentada en una visión con siete objetivos de largo plazo que se lograrán
mediante la aplicación de siete estrategias específicas que permitirán alcanzar la situación
futura deseada para la organización. Ransa CAM posee ventajas competitivas en relación a
sus competidores más cercanos, tales como: (a) su infraestructura, moderna en cada una de
sus subsidiarias; y (b) los niveles de atención al cliente, en donde alcanzan un nivel de
satisfacción de 98% y un alto grado de cumplimiento de los acuerdos niveles de servicios
(ANS), los cuales mejoran sus referencias frente a clientes nuevos, actuales y potenciales. La
puesta en marcha de las estrategias retenidas en este Planeamiento Estratégico permitirá
reforzar las ventajas competitivas de Ransa CAM, de esta manera, la organización podrá
atraer una mayor cantidad de clientes estratégicos, optimizar sus operaciones y posicionarse
entre las empresas referentes en el sector logístico de la región.
This document condenses the Strategic Plan for Ransa Centroamerica (CAM). The plan’s objective is to generate an integral tool for strategic decision making for the organization, and concurrently, function as a guide to face the growth of the logistics industry. Ransa CAM offers diverse services in the logistics sector, among which are warehousing, distribution and transportation. The company had achieved solid positioning in the Central America logistics industry through a personalized service and agile solutions which respond to their client’s specific needs. Currently, the organization enjoys great growth opportunities backed by good management practices, and financial support from the Romero Group. From a methodological perspective, this research complies with the model proposed by Dr. Fernando D’Alessio Ipinza on his book Planeamiento Estrategico Razonado, which provides support to the theoretical and methodological frameworks applied in this research. The proposal is based on a vision, with seven long term objectives to be achieved through the execution of seven specific strategies which would allow the organization to reach its future desired situation. Ransa CAM possesses competitive advantages respect its closest competitors: (a) the infrastructure which holds modern facilities in each of its subsidiaries; and (b) costumer service levels, in which Ransa CAM hold a customer satisfaction level of 98% and high fulfillment of their services level agreements. The execution of the retained strategies in this Strategic Plan would reinforce the competitive advantages of Ransa CAM, consequently, would attract more strategic clients, optimize its operations and positioning the firm among the referents of the region’s logistics sector
