Resumen
Este documento constituye un planeamiento estratégico para la Industria Financiera
en el Cusco 2017-2027, el cual se ha preparado siguiendo el Modelo Secuencial del
Planeamiento Estratégico, creado por D’Alessio (2015). Se inicia revisando la situación
actual, lo cual permitió conocer que la industria representa apenas el 1.1% de los créditos del
Sistema Financiero Nacional y el 1.3% de los depósitos, en un contexto donde los préstamos
crecen a un ritmo de 4% anual y las obligaciones con el público aumentan en 3%.
Se encontró que para convertirse en la segunda industria financiera regional del Perú
se necesita implementar las siguientes estrategias, haciendo uso de recursos humanos,
tecnológicos e infraestructura, entre otros: (a) penetrar en el mercado de las áreas rurales de
otras regiones del Perú; (b) desarrollar productos enfocados en el sector construcción y
asociados a la reconstrucción nacional, con garantía en los fondos a recibir; (c) desarrollar
producto de crowdfunding para otorgar financiamiento a cooperativas y asociaciones de
productores agropecuarios; (d) desarrollar formas innovadoras de evaluar a los clientes, a
través de registros de teléfono celular, correos electrónicos, proveedores u otras bases de
datos; y (e) desarrollar servicios digitales para el manejo de fondos y transacciones. En el
2027 se habrá conseguido una industria impulsora del desarrollo en la región Cusco, con
profesionales capacitados, fomentando el crecimiento de las micro y pequeñas empresas
This document constitutes a strategic planning for the Cusco 2017-2027 Financial Industry, which has been prepared following the Strategic Planning Sequential Model, created by D'Alessio (2015). It begins by reviewing the current situation, which has revealed that the industry represents only 1.1% of the National Financial System and 1.3% of deposits, in a context where loans grow at a rate of 4% a year and Obligations with the public increase by 3%. It was found that in order to become the second regional financial industry in Peru, the following strategies need to be implemented: (a) penetrating the market of rural areas in other regions of Peru; (b) develop products focused on the construction sector and associated with national reconstruction, with guarantee in the funds to be received; (c) develop crowdfunding product to provide financing to cooperatives and associations of agricultural producers; (d) developing innovative ways to evaluate customers, through cell phone records, emails, suppliers or other databases; and (e) develop digital services for the management of funds and transactions
