Abstract
las actividades dentro del hogar pues se ha tenido en cuenta sus posibilidades;
The general objective of this study is to analyze the development of autonomy through the application of Project Based Learning (PBL) in a classroom of 5 year old children in a school in Lima. The reasons for this research are due to irregularities observed during the process of planning and execution of projects in different schools, in which the researcher has been part of the staff; also, in the development of her bachelor's degree work she identified brief information on the subject in the sources consulted, which generated concern since it is a methodology used in different countries. The methodology of the research is qualitative and descriptive, allowing to approach to a greater extent the application of PBL to acquire autonomous abilities and skills; likewise, the instruments and techniques of data collection were applied: checklist and interview, in an appropriate manner following the ethical protocols of the research. The results showed that the application of the PBL methodology in the distance modality contributes partially to the development of autonomy, due to the few strategies and tools implemented for the realization of the activities at home, since their possibilities have been taken into account; it is even worth mentioning that the spaces for interaction were reduced. Therefore, it is essential to address new strategies that consider spaces for dialogue and debate among peers to generate discernment and contrast of thoughts, fostering autonomy.
