Abstract
The time when family come together to share with each other and strengthen their ties is at mealtimes. Depending on the different schedules that they drive due to their activities, the occasions may be at lunchtime, and to a greater extent at dinner. However, this precious moment can be affected by disagreements generated by the household tasks involved in preparing lunch, or by some discontent with what has been prepared. This problem can be solved with the implementation of the business model proposed by TuMeNu, a project developed after an application of the Design Thinking method. TuMeNu's value proposition is the design of family-oriented eating plan, with a special focus on the different needs of family members. Provide the necessary practicality and flexibility so that the selection of what they want to eat (for each member of the family) reaches the user at the time they prefer, and in the place, they require it. It must be considered that the target user identified is in the socio-economic sector A and B of Metropolitan Lima. The communication and contact channel will be that of the TuMeNu website and mobile application. The plan is to use the information about each user and their selection in an appropriate way in order to continue perfecting the algorithm of suggestions and selections. Given that not only new and good businesses should not only be analyzed under a profitability approach, some Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) have been identified to promote good for society. Six aligned objectives of the project were acknowledged, focused on three goals: Health and Well-being, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Responsible Production and Consumption. In addition, an evaluation of the social benefits is carried out over the economic benefit, which indicates the project as good for society. Finally, evaluating the business model in a conservative scenario, it is concluded that the project is desirable, feasible and viable. It is possible to obtain an internal rate of return (IRR) of 68%, and a net present value of the project of 2 308 958 soles over a discount rate equivalent to 13.46%. These values indicate the project as profitable.
