Resumen
Debido a la carencia de investigaciones en el sector sobre el nivel de calidad que
existe en las empresas manufactureras de Lima Metropolitana se ha elaborado esta tesis, el
cual tiene como objetivo identificar el nivel de cumplimiento de la Administración de la
Calidad Total (TQM) en las empresas del sector manufactura de Lima Metropolitana.
Benzaquen (2013) diseño los nueve factores que cubren a toda la organización: (a) alta
gerencia, (b) planeamiento de la calidad, (c) auditoría y evaluación de la calidad, (d) diseño
del producto, (e) gestión de la calidad del proveedor, (f) control y mejoramiento de procesos,
(g) educación y entrenamiento, (h) círculos de calidad e (i) enfoque hacia la satisfacción del
cliente. En dicho estudio, el autor suministró las pautas para enfocar y analizar de manera
detallada los nueve factores del TQM.
En el presente trabajo de investigación se identifica, describe y analiza las diferencias
significativas que existen en el nivel del cumplimiento de los factores del TQM entre las
empresas del sector manufactura de Lima Metropolitana que cuentan con un Sistema de
Gestión de la Calidad (SGC) con aquellos que no cuentan con un SGC. Los datos se
obtuvieron mediante las encuestas sobre el nivel de cumplimiento de los nueve factores del
TQM de 191 empresas manufactureras, en un instante de tiempo, de las cuales el 51% tiene
implementado un SGC. La investigación muestra la existencia de diferencias significativas en
el nivel de cumplimiento del TQM entre las empresas que cuentan con un SGC con las
empresas que no cuentan con un SGC.
Due to the lack of research in the sector about the level of quality that exists in the manufacturing companies of Metropolitan Lima we have developed this thesis, which has as goal identify the level of compliance with Total Quality Management (TQM) in the manufacturing companies of Metropolitan Lima sector. Benzaquen (2013) designed the nine factors that cover the entire organization: (a) senior management, (b) quality planning, (c) audit and quality assessment, (d) product design, (e) management quality supplier, (f) control and process improvement, (g) education and training, (h) and quality circles (i) focus on customer satisfaction. In this study, the author provided the guidelines to focus and analyze in detail the nine factors of TQM. In this present research identifies, describes and analyzes the significant differences in the level of compliance of the factors of TQM among companies in the manufacturing sector in Metropolitan Lima who have a quality management system (QMS) with those who do not have a QMS. The data were obtained by surveying the level of compliance of the nine factors of TQM of 191 manufacturing companies, in an instant of time, of which 51% has implemented a QMS. Research shows that there are significant differences in the level of enforcement TQM among companies with a QMS with companies that do not have a QMS.
