Abstract
El presente Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional (TSP) analiza la pertinencia de la
Metodología Continuos Provision como generadora de espacios innovadores que facilitan
el aprendizaje a través del juego como herramienta clave durante la primera infancia.
Aborda la transición de métodos educativos tradicionales, que se basan en la transmisión
de conocimientos por parte del docente, hacia enfoques más activos y participativos que
promueven la exploración y el juego. Se examina la Metodología Continuos Provision,
destacando cómo facilita un aprendizaje autónomo y creativo que permite a los niños y las
niñas explorar e interactuar libremente con su entorno. El trabajo refleja los treinta años de
experiencia en la docencia y cómo la formación en la PUCP ha influenciado positivamente
en el desarrollo profesional y práctica pedagógica, adaptándose a entornos educativos
bilingües. Se subraya la importancia de la innovación educativa para preparar a los niños y
las niñas para un futuro en constante cambio, proponiendo estrategias modernas como el
uso de tecnologías, proyectos de aprendizaje basados en la experiencia, aulas flexibles,
capacitación continua de los docentes, inclusión y diversidad, participación activa de las
familias, evaluación formativa así como fomentar la diversión y la personalización del
aprendizaje. El trabajo concluye con la necesidad esencial de integrar el juego en la
educación inicial, argumentando que este enfoque proporciona un aprendizaje más
significativo y personalizado, resaltando la importancia de fomentar una cultura de
innovación y la formación continua de los educadores para implementar estos enfoques
pedagógicos de manera efectiva.
The present Professional Sufficiency Project (TSP) analyzes the relevance of the Continuous Provision Methodology as a generator of innovative spaces that facilitate learning through play as a key tool during early childhood. It addresses the transition from traditional educational methods, which are based on the transmission of knowledge by the teacher, to more active and participatory approaches that promote exploration and play. The "Continuous Provision" methodology is examined, highlighting how it facilitates autonomous and creative learning that allows children to explore and interact freely with their environment. The project reflects the thirty years of experience in teaching and how the training at PUCP has positively influenced the professional development and pedagogical practice, adapting to bilingual educational environments. The importance of educational innovation in preparing children for a constantly changing future is underscored, proposing modern strategies such as the use of technologies, experience-based learning projects, flexible classrooms, continuous training of teachers, inclusion and diversity, active participation of families, formative assessment, as well as promoting fun and personalized learning. The project concludes with the essential need to integrate play in early childhood education, arguing that this approach provides more meaningful and personalized learning, highlighting the importance of fostering a culture of innovation and continuous training of educators to effectively implement these pedagogical approaches.
