SATEL Perú is a company that provides engineering services to companies in the energy sector in Perú and is part of the SATEL group with headquarters in Spain and also in Brazil, and also has three offices in the department of Lima and support of 147 workers in its payroll, and that maintains a solid commercial relationship with its main client ENEL Distribution Perú, thanks to its commitment and quality of work provided in each of its services and the concern for the safety of its workers, this is evidence not only in the triple certification but also in the communication and constant training in health and safety and the use of sustainable management tools, such as the Global Reporting Initiative Report (GRI). However, three problems have been identified that must be addressed in a way that allows the company to differentiate itself and generate greater revenues and thereby generate shared value. These problems are: (a) high concentration of their sales revenue, (b) concentration of management functions, and finally the key problem, (c) the lack of continuity in the preparation of sustainability reports. To solve that, and as a result of the evaluation of six alternative solutions, three final proposals resulted: (a) implementing changes in the organizational culture aimed at sustainable management, (b) implementing an operational guide for the preparation of the GRI Report, and finally (c) implementing the Marketing and Sales department. It is necessary to mention that it is recommended that the two solution proposals are in charge of the Head of sustainability of SATEL Perú.
