The ports are the main gateway to global international trade, and in the case of the Port of Iquitos the main to supply mass products and staple door in the Loreto region. The thesis presents the main problem, unfair competition generated by about 60 informal jetties that exist in the Bay of Iquitos, and move 80% of port trade in the area, long abasayando the Port Terminal Enapu and and may generate huge losses the Peruvian State. The Strategic Plan for the Port of Iquitos runs from 2016 to 2025, to help position it in the port sector, through efficiency and productivity of their loading and unloading, and helping to strengthen the multimodal transport system which It is part of the port. Sequential model proposed by Dr. Fernando D'Alessio, which states that it is necessary to understand the current situation of the organization, and then make the internal and external analysis Strategic Process was used for this work, and thus to define the longterm goals and strategies that will achieve the desired future situation. Finally, it is concluded that the Port of Iquitos has the potential to become one of the leading ports in the Amazon, taking advantage of its strategic location, natural resources of the Loreto region, and the existing port facilities, to thereby generate millions in profits for the organization, value for everyone involved, and contributing to the sustainable development of the Loreto region.
