Abstract
Agrícola Miranda cuenta con una impresionante trayectoria de más de 14 años en la ciudad de Ica,
donde ha destacado por su amplia experiencia en exportaciones de uvas y cebolla hacia mercados con altos
estándares de calidad como son Estados Unidos, y Europa. Su principal distintivo radica en la calidad
excepcional de sus productos, respaldada por un gran compromiso con la excelencia en cada uno de sus
procesos operativos.
El propósito de este caso de estudio fue identificar las principales causas de la baja productividad en
los cultivos de uva, originados por los manejos deficientes del recurso hídrico, empleando un sistema de riego
por goteo semi tecnificado en el cultivo de uva, la investigación se centra en la variedad Ivory por la dimensión
de hectáreas (43.7224) el cual representa un 67% de los cultivos de uva. Para ello, se sostuvieron reuniones
entre el equipo de consultores y representantes de la empresa, se aplicaron herramientas como entrevistas
focalizadas y se utilizó el Diagrama de Ishikawa, para identificar las causas del problema. Los resultados de
la investigación identificaron como problemas: La deficiencia en la gestión del manejo del recurso hídrico; La
alta rotación del personal calificado en manejo de riego, así como, efectos climáticos que generan impacto en
la huella de carbono y escasez del recurso hídrico en el valle de Ica, dificultando el crecimiento sostenible en
el cultivo de uva patentadas para Agrícola Miranda.
Como consecuencia de ello, se formó un equipo de mejora continua y de evaluación de proyectos,
elaborando una propuesta de trabajo con capacitaciones, la cual permitirá la ejecución de las propuestas de
solución estratégicas, para obtener resultados cualitativos y cuantitativos en un plazo de un año. Los
beneficios se verán reflejados en el incremento de la productividad y aumento en la calidad de exportación.

The results of the research identified as problems: Deficiency in the management of water resources; The high turnover of qualified personnel in irrigation management, as well as climatic effects that generate an impact on the carbon footprint and scarcity of water resources in the Ica valley, hindering sustainable growth in the cultivation of patented grapes for Agrícola Miranda. As a consequence, a continuous improvement and project evaluation team was formed, developing a work proposal with training, which will allow the execution of strategic solution proposals, to obtain qualitative and quantitative results within a period of one year. The benefits will be reflected in the increase in productivity and increase in export quality.
