Resumen
La presente tesis está orientada a desarrollar un diagnóstico operativo empresarial de
la situación actual en la que se encuentra la Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito de Arequipa
S.A. (Caja Arequipa). El estudio se centra en analizar los procesos de gestión crediticia que
conlleva al otorgamiento de crédito, ya que representa el núcleo competitivo principal de la
Caja, institución microfinanciera que alcanzó durante el año 2017 los S/ 4,180 millones en
cartera bruta, representando un crecimiento de1 2.3% respecto al año 2016, y que concentra
el 63% de créditos colocados en los sectores de la pequeña y microempresa. Así mismo,
comprende la descripción y el análisis de los procesos estratégicos y operativos, con el fin de
encontrar oportunidades de mejora y plantear lineamientos a nivel operativo, en virtud de
optimizar sus niveles de eficiencia operativa, ventajas competitivas, y con ello satisfacer las
expectativas del mercado financiero objetivo.
Se desarrollarán quince capítulos en la que se describirán los procesos operativos
crediticios, se identificará oportunidades de mejora en cada capítulo, con la finalidad de
generar beneficios a toda la cadena productiva y facilidades de gestión crediticia para el
cliente.
Todo se resume en la propuesta de implementar un software, que simplificará los
procesos de la gestión crediticia orientada a los cliente con clasificación Premium, y que será
apoyada a través del soporte tecnológico y mejoras en sistemas de costos de la Caja
Arequipa, la misma que tendrá una inversión de S/ 1,994,069, generando un ahorro de S/
6,034,815 anuales, de los cuales se obtiene un beneficio total de S/ 4,040,746 anuales, con lo
cual permitirá brindar a sus clientes, mejores servicios financieros más rápido y por supuesto,
alcanzar mayores niveles de productividad e incluso de expansión e imagen organizacional.
This thesis is aimed at developing a business operational diagnosis of the current situation in which the Caja de Ahorro y Credito de Arequipa S.A. (Caja Arequipa). The study focuses on analyzing the credit management processes that lead to the granting of credit, since it represents the main competitive core of the Caja, a microfinance institution that reached S / 4,180 million in gross loan portfolio in 2017, representing a growth of 12.3% compared to 2016, and which accounts for 63% of loans placed in the small and microenterprise sectors. Likewise, it includes the description and analysis of the strategic and operational processes, in order to find opportunities for improvement and set guidelines at the operational level, by virtue of optimizing their levels of operational efficiency, competitive advantages, and thereby satisfying the expectations of the target financial market. Fifteen chapters will be developed in which credit operating processes will be described, opportunities for improvement will be identified in each chapter, with the purpose of generating benefits for the entire productive chain and credit management facilities for the client. Everything is summarized in the proposal to implement software, which will simplify customer-oriented credit processes with Premium classification, and which will be supported through the technological support and improvements in cost systems of Caja Arequipa, the same as it will have an investment of S / 1,994,069 generating a saving of S / 6,034,815 per year, of which a total benefit of S / 4,040,746 per year is obtained, which will allow it to provide its customers with better financial services faster and, of course, achieve greater levels of productivity and even expansion and organizational image.
