Abstract
poder hacerlo.
The objective of this thesis is to establish a link between the practice of theatrical improvisation and how it contributes to communication skills, developed through a workshop in the Franco Peruano School. The way the workshop´s method and content were developed is the product of more than six years working as a teacher with a similar human group. The participants have changed but the profile is still the same. The motivations for this research started because of the discoveries during the application of the workshop. This technique has proved to me that it can free people so as to develop their communication. To support my perception, I have appealed to the bibliography tied to communication skills and performing arts, as well as the tools for investigation through art. The chapters order starts with the introduction of the basic principles, the skills and the method of the workshop’s execution. Lastly, I present the conclusions showing the discoveries and the student’s perspective to their communication skills growth. I have concluded based on testimonies, observation and bibliography that the workshops execution has developed the student’s communication skills communication. They identify an improvement in their theatrical practice, their ability to expressed themselves, and students with longer participation time have been able to tell specifically which aspects they have benefited from this practice. They value their partners ideas and value the ability to do it.
