The Universal Design of Evaluation, hereafter UDE, is an approach that makes it possible to clearly define what is to be evaluated and then to design it in a way that is optimal for everyone. Seven principles are then developed to enable quality evaluation. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the principles of UDL applied by IV cycle teachers in their evaluation practices in a distance education modality in an educational institution in Metropolitan Lima. Consequently, three specific objectives are proposed, which consist of identifying how teachers conceive the evaluative practices to attend to the diversity of students, describing how teachers plan their evaluative practices to attend to their students in the distance education modality, and describing how teachers apply the fundamental principles of DUE in their evaluative practices. The research follows a qualitative approach, using three interviews, three non-participant observations and a documentary analysis as instruments. In this sense, the results espectáculo that the three teachers agree with the type of evaluation for their evaluative practices. At the same time, they mentioned that they have heard about DUE and understand it as an approach that takes into account diversity. In conclusion, there is evidence that confirms the application of the principles of UDL in evaluative practices. For this reason, it is suggested that in the following researches, it should be further explored to experiment with the criteria for the application of the principles proposed in the research.
