Abstract
El testamento del vicealmirante Martín George Guise Wright sirve para conocer un extracto de la realidad peruana a través de los ojos de un extranjero afincado en la flamante República del Perú. De hecho, las relaciones con la familia, las amistades y el Estado se reúnen en este documento legal que evidencia cambios dentro del proceso inicial pos independencia y la forma como influenció en Guise.
