Eduardo Couture y el proceso civil brasilero

Abstract

El presente trabajo está destinado a demostrar la enorme influencia que la doctrina de Eduardo Couture tuvo sobre el proceso civil brasilero, en particular en lo atinente a las relaciones entre Constitución y proceso civil en la perspectiva del derecho de acción. Con ello, se pretende prestar un sincero homenaje a aquel que fue considerado uno de los mayores pro-cesalistas latinoamericanos de los novecientos, cuya voz hizo eco más allá de las fronteras de América Latina y cuyas ideas ganaron foros de ciuda-danía procesal.This work is intended to demonstrate the enormous influence that the doctrine of Eduardo Couture took on the Brazilian civil process, in particular on the relationship between Constitution and civil process in the perspective of the right of action. Thus intends to pay a heartfelt tribute to one who was considered one of the greatest Latin American procedure scholars of the twentieth century, whose voice echoed far beyond the borders of Latin America and whose ideas won procedural citizenship forums.
