An external analysis was carried out that revealed the existence of opportunities for the company to continue growing; however, the deep internal analysis revealed several weaknesses, which allowed the high level of incidents to be identified as the biggest problem that company d currently has. To remedy this situation, various alternatives were proposed, and after evaluating different elements, it was decided to implement two complementary solutions: (a) automate the inventory of finished products, and (b) implement a security system for inventory control. The required initial investment amounts to S/ 328,500 and after financially evaluating the project, it was found to be viable, generating a Net Present Value of S/ 1,256,511 in the most probable scenario, with cash flows discounted at 29.98%, which is the average of the rate of return on equity that the company has obtained in the last three years. It is recommended to immediately implement this project, to reverse as soon as possible the negative image that is being generated in customers as the result of incidents. Likewise, the creation of a multilevel team is proposed to facilitate implementation, which will mitigate the risk of resistance to change.
