The present investigation sought to describe the level of organizational happiness of the employees of the Construction Division of Komatsu Mitsui Maquinarias Perú, as well as the factors and variables that determine it, with the purpose that the organization executes action plans that allow to increase its participation in the long-term market. For this, the adaptation and validation of the Happiness Works survey by Georg Dustchke was carried out, considering the 38 variables associated to the organizational happiness construct, which was applied to the sample of collaborators obtained, who belong to the different levels of the Division's position. The research carried out concluded that the level of organizational happiness of the Construction Division is high, and considering the positions a very high level was reflected for the Manager position, and high for the other positions (Chief / Supervisor, Executive / Analyst and Technician / Assistant). In the same way, the determinants of happiness, were "importance of innovation and identification with hierarchy and organization" and "objectives and professional successes"; the most important variables being those related to the fulfillment of objectives and respect as an individual. On the contrary, the variable of remuneration and benefits does not have an important contribution to happiness in the organization. It is concluded that the level of happiness is high, mainly due to the arrival of two new CEO´s (José Marún and Takaaki Kitabayashi), who, based on trust, applied a strategy of empowerment and autonomy to employees.
