trabajo.
In recent years, especially due to the driving factor of the COVID-19 pandemic, remote work has become more than an option, it has become a necessity, not only for Peruvians but for the global population as well. This situation has resulted in people having to turn their homes into their offices, dealing simultaneously with work and family issues, which is not an ideal scenario for achieving high work performance. Furthermore, a high percentage of telecommuters and remote workers have been identified as not having a workspace that meets the optimal conditions for the development of their remote work. These favorable conditions include having private, comfortable spaces with adequate logistics such as high-speed broadband internet, suitable furniture, and other conditions that generate satisfaction and comfort for end-users, allowing for the proper development of their work. It is in this context that the Home to Work initiative or solution is created, which aims to connect users with landlords and simplify the impacts associated with remote work stress caused by various situations. The business model is based on the collaborative economy, where an economic system is generated that bases the added value on the security of the leads created and verified to use the service for both users and landlords. To launch Home to Work, an initial investment of S/600,000 is required, with an expected income value of S/12'138,000 for the first year and gradually increasing in the following periods. Regarding the market penetration plan, this aims to reach all districts of Lima Metropolitana and Callao in the first year, followed by expansion to other provinces. Regarding the net present value (NPV), it amounted to S/3'001,303, indicating that the business model is financially attractive. Moreover, the social NPV was S/1 ́953,823, a very significant value that demonstrates the positive social and environmental impact that the business has on consumers and the planet as a whole.
