Abstract
Utilizando como marco conceptual la Teoría de la Autodeterminación (SDT), la presente
investigación estudió la relación entre la percepción de los estilos de liderazgo (promoción de
autonomía y control), el comportamiento innovador, la intención de rotación, el desgaste
emocional, y las necesidades psicológicas básicas en una muestra de 135 trabajadores
pertenecientes a diferentes empresas de Lima. De igual manera, se exploró las propiedades
psicométricas de los instrumentos con el fin de determinar su validez y confiabilidad. A partir
de la implementación de un análisis de senderos alineado al bright side y dark side, se
encontró que la relación entre la percepción del estilo de liderazgo de promoción de la
autonomía y la intención de rotación estuvo mediada por la satisfacción de necesidades
psicológicas básicas. Asimismo, se halló una relación entre la percepción del estilo de
liderazgo de promoción de autonomía y el comportamiento innovador, la cual estaba mediada
por la satisfacción de necesidades psicológicas básicas. También, se observó que la relación
entre la percepción del estilo de liderazgo de promoción de la autonomía y el desgaste
emocional estuvo mediado por la frustración de necesidades psicológicas básicas. Por último,
se encontró una relación entre la percepción del estilo de liderazgo de control y el desgaste
emocional mediada por la frustración de necesidades psicológicas básicas. Cabe mencionar
que la percepción del estilo de liderazgo de control desplegó un sendero directo y positivo
hacia la intención de rotación, así como esta última variable entabló una relación directa con
el desgaste emocional.
Making use of the conceptual framework of Self-Determination Theory (SDT), the present investigation studies the relation between perceived leadership style (autonomy support and control), innovative behavior, turnover intention, emotional exhaustion, and basic psychological needs with a sample of 135 workers from different enterprises in Lima. In addition, the present investigation explores the psychometric properties of the respective instruments with the aim of determining appropriate indicators of validity and reliability. Owe to the implementation of path analysis alienated with bright side and dark side, it was found a relationship between perceived autonomy support leadership and turnover intention mediated by the satisfaction of basic psychological needs. Also, it is discovered the relationship between perceived autonomy support leadership and innovative behavior that was mediated by the satisfaction of basic psychological needs. Moreover, it is observed how the relation between perceived autonomy support leadership and emotional exhaustion was mediated by the frustration of basic psychological needs. Lastly, it is found a relationship between control leadership and emotional exhaustion mediated by the frustration of basic psychological needs. It should be noted that perceived of control leadership had a direct and positive path towards turnover intention, and this last variable held a direct path with emotional exhaustion.
