Abstract
En la presente investigación se busca responder la pregunta ¿Cuáles son las
percepciones docentes acerca de la interacción con animales en el aula para
promover el desarrollo socioemocional en niños de 3 años de una IE privada en Lima?.
Para ello, se realiza la observación de experiencias educativas de interacción con
animales y entrevistas a docentes. La investigación toma un enfoque metodológico
cualitativo de tipo descriptivo. Las investigaciones demuestran que los animales
aportan significativamente al desarrollo de los niños, en especial para el desarrollo de
las habilidades socioemocionales, y dentro del aula estos son un gran apoyo para
poder fomentar diversas habilidades y comportamientos, tales como el respeto,
empatía y responsabilidad, así como también promueve la socialización, que es
importante y se debe poner en práctica desde la infancia, para lograr un óptimo
desarrollo. De esta manera, los estudios realizados respaldan los hallazgos de la
investigación, que muestran la importancia del rol docente en las experiencias
educativas de interacción con animales, y cómo estas interacciones forman parte del
aprendizaje de los niños y fomentan el surgimiento de estas habilidades
socioemocionales, desde antes de la llegada del animal en el aula.
This research seeks to answer the question: What are the teacher perceptions about classroom interaction with animals to promote socio-emotional development in 3-yearold children of a private Institution in Lima? in this line, it seeks to analyze which are the teachers' perceptions about the interaction with animals to promote socioemotional development in 3-year-old children from a private Institution in Lima. The research is descriptive and takes a qualitative methodological approach. Research shows that animals contribute significantly to the development of children, especially for the development of socio-emotional skills, and within the classroom they are a great support to promote various skills and behaviors, such as respect, empathy, and responsibility, as well as promoting socialization, which is important and should be put into practice from early childhood to achieve optimal development. In this way, the research supports the thesis findings, which show the importance of the teacher's role in the educational experiences of interaction with animals, and how these interactions allow children to be a part of their learning process and foster the emergence of these socio-emotional skills, from before the arrival of the animal in the classroom.
