INNTEGRA: ¿Por qué integrar el valor de la Innovación Sostenible en la ciudad?

Abstract

Indisputably, the world in which we live in is a product of an extensive historic process. In fact, the last 100 years of humanity has witnessed big dicoveries and inventions that undoubtedly revolutionized in an accelerated way our social, economical and political system. In front of it, cities have become a source and nucleus of economic and technological development. However, this system of accelerated growth and focus in the accumulation of capital has not been questioned itself if it’s impact could be sustainable in time. After the first evidence of a threatening global climate change for the survival of humanity, a series of organisms around the world have decided to undertake the decision of controlling the chaotic situation and reconstruct a new model of development. In 2015, the United Nations announced the Global Agenda until 2030 that incorporate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and demands the transversal action from the public and private sector, university and civil society. In other words, an integrated compromise from all the sectors of society is sought. In this context, emerges the entrepreneurship INNTEGRA which seeks to join the global force and lead the local agenda by incorporating the value of Urban Sustainable Innovation.

El mundo en el que vivimos indiscutiblemente es producto de un extenso proceso histórico que nos ha antecedido y seguimos construyendo. En efecto, los últimos 100 años la humanidad ha sido testigo de grandes descubrimientos e invenciones que sin duda han revolucionado de forma acelerada nuestro sistema social, económico y político. Frente a ello las ciudades se han vuelto fuente y núcleo del desarrollo económico y tecnológico. Sin embargo, este sistema de acelerado crecimiento y centrado en la acumulación de capital no se había cuestionado a sí mismo si su impacto podría ser sostenible en el tiempo. Tras las primeras muestras de un cambio climático global que amenaza la supervivencia de la humanidad una serie de organismos en todo el mundo han decidido emprender la decisión de controlar la caótica situación y reconstruir un nuevo modelo de desarrollo. El año 2015 la ONU anunció la Agenda Global al año 2030 que incluye los 17 Objetivos para el Desarrollo Sostenible y demandan la actuación transversal por parte del sector público, privado, la universidad y la sociedad civil. En otras palabras, se busca un compromiso integrado por parte de todos. En este contexto, surge el emprendimiento INNTEGRA que busca sumarse a la fuerza global y liderar la agenda local incorporando el valor de la Innovación Sostenible Urbana.
