Abstract
This paper seeks to detail the creative process and production of the short film “Tercer Acto”. This story aims to touch the viewer emotionally as it touches on issues related to job satisfaction, personal fulfillment and the fears that exist around choosing an artistic career. This is how the story of Isabella is told, who is worried because her daughter’s priority is the artistic career and not the academic. Nevertheless, after an encounter with an old friend, she starts to consider and accept her daughter’s wishes of being an actress. In this way, Isabella reconciles with her past self, because she remembered that when she was a student she aspired to be a painter. With this story, it is intended that the development of the main character can achieve the empathy of the viewer by seeing themself reflected by finding similarities with their own story or just understanding the character’s frustrations. In this sense, this paper describes the process and the stages of realization from the technical area of Photography, Art Direction, Sound Design and Edition.
