The present thesis on the Project of Improvement of Human and Productive Capacities in the District of Quilcas aims to analyze the pertinence of the pedagogical proposal and the methodology, as well as the evaluation of the beneficiaries and the improvement of the quality of life to establish the effectiveness of the intervention and propose its replication in other communities. This thesis had been developed according to a case study therefore it is of qualitative type and the main sources of information are the documentary review and the interviews with the beneficiaries and the social-technical personnel of the project. The Human and Productive Capacity Improvement Project in theory aspired to generate remarkable skills and abilities in the population through learning workshops according to their environment, however the intervention had slight intervals and key points that were not taken into account especially concerning the methodology of the Yes I Can and the use of the TICs. Therefore it is not possible to determine exactly what the contribution of it was without disconnecting it from the contribution of the other programs and projects that preceded it. The main recommendation we make is that literacy and projects that seek real contribution in a community must be sustainable and integral, we must educate for life and throughout it, it is necessary to link the family as a body motivator in this process to ensure the permanence and interest of the people.
