Resumen
Esta investigación se desarrolló mediante la aplicación del modelo secuencial planteado
por el Centro de Negocios de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (CENTRUM), el
análisis de publicaciones de la biblioteca de la Universidad, información brindada por
profesionales, trabajadores del Servicio Industrial de la Marina (SIMAC), personas ligados a este
Servicio, y datos debidamente validados de internet de organizaciones reconocidas a nivel
nacional e internacional.
En la presente tesis se plantea la oportunidad del SIMAC de lograr su mejora en base a la
capacitación y certificación de su personal, recuperación e incremento de sus instalaciones,
mantenimiento y modernización del equipamiento, debido a la alta demanda en las
construcciones y reparaciones navales que existe en el mercado interno y externo, y el apoyo que
viene brindando el Estado, mediante la asignación de fondos por medio de los Proyectos de
Inversión Pública, considerando esto último, como una ventaja debido a la coyuntura política que
atraviesa el país.
Adicionalmente se recomienda continuar con la senda de la firma de convenios de
cooperación internacional a fin de lograr el asesoramiento y principalmente la obtención de la
capacidad técnica para realizar todo tipo de construcciones y reparaciones navales, para lograr
reducir la brecha tecnológica del SIMAC, con respecto a los mejores astilleros del mundo,
logrando la consolidación como líder en este tipo de servicios en el pacífico sudamericano,
siendo competitivo y buscar la creación de clústeres para brindar todos los servicios que
necesitan las embarcaciones, acelerando el desarrollo del país; y de esta manera incrementar los
beneficios a la población profesional y técnica relacionada con este rubro.
This research was conducted by applying the sequential model proposed by the Business Center of the Pontifícia Universidad Católica del Perú ( CENTRUM ) , analysis of publications of the university library , information provided by professional workers Servicio Industrial de la Marina - Callao (SIMAC) , people linked to this Service , and properly validated Internet data of nationally and internationally recognized organizations. In this thesis there is the opportunity to achieve SIMAC improvement based on the training and certification of staff , and increased recovery facilities , maintenance and modernization of equipment, due to high demand in naval construction and repairs in the existing domestic and foreign markets , and the providing support of the State , through the allocation of funds through the Public Investment Projects , considering the latter as an advantage because of the political situation prevailing in the country . Additionally it is recommended to continue the path of the signing of international cooperation in order to achieve the advice and technical capacity to perform all types of constructions and ship repairs, in order to reduce SIMAC technological gap with respect of the best shipyards in the world , making consolidation as a leader in this type of service in the Pacific South American , being competitive and seek to create clusters to provide all services needed by vessels, accelerating the development of the country and increase benefits to professional and technical people related to this field.
