Abstract
La tesis tiene como objetivo general analizar la percepción de las docentes respecto
a su rol mediador, en la modalidad de educación a distancia, en una institución
educativa pública del nivel inicial del distrito de Pueblo Libre; mientras que los objetivos
específicos son: (i) Describir la percepción docente sobre su función de planificador y
organizador de las actividades en la modalidad de educación a distancia , (ii) describir
la percepción docente sobre su función de seguimiento de sus estudiantes en la
modalidad de educación a distancia, (iii) describir la percepción docente sobre su
función de facilitador y dinamizador del aprendizaje en la modalidad de educación a
distancia y, (iiii) describir la percepción docente sobre su función de evaluación de los
aprendizajes en la modalidad de educación a distancia. El tema resulta relevante
puesto que el rol mediador del docente es vital para el proceso de aprendizaje de los
niños. Se sigue un enfoque cualitativo y se utiliza como técnica el grupo focal. Se
concluye que los docentes entrevistados identifican que su rol mediador está dirigido
no solo hacia sus estudiantes, sino que resaltan también este rol dirigido a los padres
de familia, con el fin de que los padres sean partícipes de este proceso de enseñanza
y aprendizaje, y puedan acompañar y guiar a sus hijos durante esta etapa escolar en
un contexto diferente como la educación a distancia.
The general objective of the thesis is to analyze the perception of teachers regarding their mediating role, in the modality of distance education, in a public educational institution of preschool level in the Pueblo Libre district; while the specific objectives are: (i) Describe the teacher's perception of their role as planner and organizer of activities in the distance education modality, (ii) describe the teacher's perception of their role in monitoring their students in the modality of distance education, (iii) describe the teacher's perception about their role as facilitator and dynamizer of learning in the distance education modality and, (iiii) describe the teacher's perception about their function of evaluation of learning in the education modality a distance. The issue is relevant since the mediator role of the teacher is vital for the learning process of children. A qualitative approach is followed and the focus group is used as a technique. It is concluded that the teachers interviewed identify that their mediating role is directed not only towards their students, but also highlights this role directed at parents, in order for parents to be participants in this teaching and learning process and to be able to accompany and guide their children during this school stage in a different context such as distance education.
