Análisis de los factores de éxito del programa de voluntariado de los Juegos Panamericanos Lima 2019

Abstract

En nuestro contexto social, el trabajo voluntario aún está en proceso de ser más extendido y valorado. La Gerencia Social busca, por definición, el bien social, y el Programa de Voluntarios de los Juegos Panamericanos buscó unirnos para lograr un objetivo común entre todos los peruanos. Los voluntarios trabajaron en diversas capacidades para lograr que los Juegos Panamericanos se desarrollen de manera efectiva y eficaz. El trabajo voluntario fue desarrollado con protocolos establecidos en todo tipo de evento olímpico, la fuerza laboral se marcó en acciones de apoyo realizado por los voluntarios permitiendo fáctica y financieramente la realización de éstos. El trabajo voluntario se utilizó para tareas de anfitriones de envergadura con todos los asistentes y delegaciones deportivas. Para esto es imprescindible replicar las circunstancias dentro del proceso que hicieron posible una participación tan masiva. Fue crítico precisar, que inspiraron a tantos miles de personas como voluntarios por ser parte de los juegos Panamericanos Lima 2019 como voluntarios. Asimismo, es importantísimo obtener data objetiva de quiénes participaron (grupo etario, procedencia social, nivel de educación, etc.) para dilucidar cómo se logró el éxito en la convocatoria. Por último, es también muy importante saber, objetivamente, lo que faltó, lo que falló, la eficacia y eficiencia del programa, los problemas que tuvo y el nivel de satisfacción de los voluntarios. Todo esto se logra con la exhaustiva investigación de los diversos factores del programa de voluntarios. El objetivo general de la tesis fue análisis cualitativo que determinaron los factores de éxito del Programa de Voluntarios de los Juegos Panamericanos Lima 2019, en el período comprendido entre los años 2018-2019 en la ciudad de Lima; para reconocerlos, definirlos, y ubicarlos dentro del alcance de la Gerencia social, con el fin de poder imitarlos y ampliarlos en cualquier programa futuro.

In our social context, volunteer work is still in the process of being commonplace and valued. The Volunteer Program of the Pan American Games sought to unite all Peruvians to a common objective. The volunteers worked in various capacities to accomplish an effective and efficient rendering of the Games. Volunteer work is the norm for an Olympic game, the labor provided by the volunteers allows the realization of these events, factually and financially. Volunteer work can be used for massive endeavors. In order to accomplish this, it is essential to replicate the circumstances inherent to the process which achieved such great participation. It is critical to identify the variables that inspired thousands of people to be part of the Pan American Games Lima 2019, as volunteers. Also, it is very important to gather data regarding who participated (age group, social background, education level, etc.) to help us understand how the invitation to volunteer was so successful. Lastly, it is important to learn, accurately, what was missing, what failed; that is to the level of satisfaction from volunteers. All of this will be revealed after the meticulous investigation of the several factors affecting the Volunteer Program of the Pan American Games Lima 2019. The general objective of this thesis pursuits the identification of the Pan American Games Lima 2019 Volunteer Program´s factors of success between 2018-2019 in the city of Lima, with the intention to recognize them, define them and place them within the scope of Social Management, with the ulterior purpose to imitate them and amplify them for other programs in the future.
