Gobierno corporativo en las empresas familiares peruanas : caso de estudio en el sector textil

Abstract
Los investigadores analizaron el uso de las prácticas de gobierno corporativo en las empresas familiares peruanas del sector textil, así como la influencia que la dinámica y el entorno familiar ejercen sobre ellas.
El análisis se basó en el estudio e interpretación de resultados obtenidos de entrevistas aplicadas a gerentes de empresas familiares del sector textil, que se encuentran ahora de la segunda generación de los fundadores, para poder apreciar aspectos de la sucesión y planificación de futuro.
La investigación sigue el paradigma cualitativo de investigación porque los investigadores buscan utilizar una lógica inductiva, en la cual se explora y describe la información de los fenómenos sociales en estudio, lo que permite generar ideas que respondan a la pregunta planteada de investigación.
Entre los aportes de la presente investigación, se concluyó que en las empresas familiares del sector textil no se maneja el uso del gobierno corporativo y sus prácticas de manera formal y que, muchas veces, el cumplimiento de algunas obedece fundamentalmente al cumplimiento del marco regulatorio empresarial. La razón radica en la adaptación particular de las prácticas de gobierno corporativo según las características y necesidades de cada empresa al entorno y dinámica familiar.
This research analyzed the uses and practices of corporate governance in family controlled business of the Peruvian textile industry, and the influence of the family environment in it. The analysis was based in the study and interpretation of interviews applied to managers of some of this firms which are now in the second generation, so it is possible to see transpose characteristics and future planification. The investigation followed the qualitative paradigm in order to look for an inductive logic, exploring and describing information of the social study, so it allows generating ideas that may be the answers to the problem question established. The research determined that in textile family firms aren’t a formal use and practice of corporate governance. It is just implemented to follow the law, but it does not represent a significative management tool. The reason why is that the adjustment of the system to their own requirements and needs, based on the familiar environment.
