The present research uses a descriptive scope with a qualitative approach, in order to identify job aspirations of professional men and women in the generations "Baby Boomers", "X" and "Y". After interviewing 24 participants from different generations in Metropolitan Lima, the following aspirations were observed: continuous learning and gaining work experience, bequeathing changes of positive impact at work, keep job position, obtaining a position or one at a higher level and achieving one’s own company. The findings showed that job aspirations do not depend on generation or sex, but on each professional own motivations; because thanks to them, professionals feel the need to meet their goals. In addition, it was observed that the common job aspiration among the three generations, in both men and women, is to obtain a job position or one at a higher level. Among the positive factors, the mentor is the factor with the greatest response, since they encourage, in these cases, the growth and achievement of job aspirations of the professionals; while the negative factors on which the majority of respondents agree, was the absence of a career strategy, which limits and delays the achievement of professional aspirations in most cases. The uniqueness of this research lies in the comparative analysis of job aspirations of professional men and women of "Baby Boomers", "X" and "Y" generations, a study that has no antecedents in Metropolitan Lima or in other cities of the country
