Resumen
El presente Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional expone una experiencia centrada en la
transformación del proceso de publicación y capacitación de los revisores
departamentales en la plataforma de operaciones de un organismo de desarrollo
internacional. La elección de esta experiencia se debe a su impacto significativo en el
desarrollo profesional de la autora, quien ha ocupado el rol de bibliotecaria en dicha
institución.
El trabajo se organiza en cuatro secciones que siguen la evolución del proceso de
publicación. En primer lugar, se contextualiza y se presentan los antecedentes de la
experiencia, que abarca el período de implementación de cambios sustanciales,
iniciado en junio de 2018 y finalizado en junio de 2022. La segunda parte se concentra
en la identificación de los desafíos que surgieron durante este período y en las
herramientas utilizadas para ello.
La tercera sección detalla las acciones estratégicas llevadas a cabo, así como los
productos resultantes de estas acciones. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos y se
analiza su impacto en la eficiencia y calidad del proceso de publicación. Por último, se
ofrecen conclusiones que sintetizan los hallazgos clave, y se proponen
recomendaciones para futuros análisis similares.
Este trabajo representa un esfuerzo continuo por mejorar y optimizar la gestión del
conocimiento en el contexto de un organismo de desarrollo internacional, abordando
desafíos significativos en el proceso de publicación y capacitación de actores clave,
como son los revisores departamentales.
This Professional Sufficiency Work presents a highly relevant professional experience focused on the transformation of the publication and training process for departmental reviewers in the operational platform of an international development organization. The selection of this experience is due to its significant impact on the professional development of the author, who has held the role of librarian in this institution. The work is divided into four sections that follow the evolution of the publication process. First, it contextualizes and presents the background of the experience, covering the period of implementation of the substantial changes that began in June 2018 and ended in June 2022. The second part focuses on identifying the challenges that arose during this period and the tools used to address them. The third part details the strategic actions taken, as well as the resulting products of these actions. The results obtained are presented and their impact on the efficiency and quality of the publication process is analyzed. Finally, conclusions are offered that summarize the key findings, along with recommendations for future similar analyses. This work represents an ongoing effort to improve and optimize knowledge management in the context of an international development organization, addressing significant challenges in the publication and training processes of key actors such as departmental reviewers.
