Resumen
La presente investigación explora las vivencias de violencia en el noviazgo (VN) de un grupo
de jóvenes a través de un enfoque cualitativo. El grupo de participantes estuvo constituido
por 10 jóvenes universitarios voluntarios, que han tenido una relación de pareja
heterosexual, de mínimo un mes de duración. A través de entrevistas a profundidad, se
ahondó en las vivencias sobre violencia en el noviazgo, los tipos experimentados, los
factores desencadenantes y las diferencias de género. Los resultados obtenidos fueron
distribuidos en tres áreas temáticas: factores influyentes en las vivencias, vivencias de VN y
aprendizajes desde las vivencias; teniendo como eje transversal las diferencias según la
edad. Se encontró que la VN se vive como un proceso y que las vivencias se tornan en
experiencias significativas que influyen en los vínculos de pareja futuros. Los pares cumplen
un papel central como red de apoyo para sobrellevar la vivencia. Los jóvenes en este
contexto cuentan con recursos para hacer frente y terminar el vínculo violento.
The aim of this investigation is to explore the subjective experiences about teen dating violence (TDV) in a group of young students through a qualitative research. The participants were 10 university young adult students, that volunteer to participate on the study and have had a heterosexual love relationship of, at least, one month. Through in-depth interview, subjective experiences about presence of dating violence, types, triggering factors and gender differences were explore. The results were distributed in three topics: influent factors in the experiences, subjective experiences and learning from experiences; holding as principal axis the differences by age. It was found that TDV is lived as a process and that the experiences turn into significant experiences that influence future couple relationships. Peers play a central role as a support network to cope with the experience. Young people have the resources to face and end the violent boundary.
