Resumen
En la actualidad, las redes sociales son percibidas como medios de comunicación, el cual
permite el contacto de manera inmediata. Sin embargo, no siempre es utilizado
adecuadamente, como es el caso de las relaciones de pareja, donde utilizan las redes sociales
para controlar, amenazar a sus parejas, este fenómeno viene a ser conocido como Cyber
Dating Abuse. De esta manera, el objetivo de la presente investigación fue analizar las
representaciones sociales del Cyber Dating Abuse en un grupo de jóvenes pertenecientes a
universidades privadas de Lima Metropolitana de entre 18 a 25 años de edad. Para ello, se
utilizó la metodología cualitativa, basado en un diseño de análisis temático. La entrevista
semi-estructurada permitió acceder a las diferentes informaciones, opiniones y actitudes
dirigidas al fenómeno estudiado. Entre los principales resultados, se encontró que el
compartir contenido íntimo de la pareja, siendo una vulneración a la intimidad de la víctima.
Además, se halló que el CDA puede desarrollarse como un proceso, teniendo tres elementos
clave: los medios en los que se expresa el CDA, las formas en las que se manifiesta y las
consecuencias en las víctimas. Asimismo, se evidenció relaciones entre el CDA, las etapas de
desarrollo y las fases de enamoramiento, predominando la etapa de la adolescencia. Por
último, tanto hombres como mujeres pueden llegar a ser perpetradores de violencia. siendo
influenciado de alguna manera por la cultura machista.
At present, social networks are perceived as means of communication, which allows immediate contact. However, it is not always used properly, as is the case with relationships, where they use social networks to control, threaten their partners, this phenomenon comes to be known as Cyber Dating Abuse. Thus, the aim of this research was to analyze the social representations of Cyber Dating Abuse in a group of young people belonging to private universities in Metropolitan Lima between 18 and 25 years old. For this purpose, the qualitative methodology was used, based on a thematic analysis design. The semi-structured interview allowed access to the different information, opinions and attitudes related to the phenomenon studied. Among the main results, it was found that sharing intimate content of the couple, being a violation of the privacy of the victim. In addition, it was found that the CDA can be developed as a process, having three key elements: the means by which the CDA is expressed, the ways in which it is expressed, and the impact on victims. Likewise, relationships were evidenced between the CDA, the stages of development and the phases of falling in love, predominating the stage of adolescence. Finally, men and women can become perpetrators of violence. being influenced in some way by macho culture.
