Resumen
El presente documento contiene el planeamiento estratégico de la industria de
cosméticos peruana, como resultado de un riguroso análisis de factores externos e internos de
dicha industria, el cual permitió identificar sus principales oportunidades, amenazas,
fortalezas y debilidades. Para el presente trabajo se realizaron diferentes matrices que
permitieron elaborar y seleccionar las principales estrategias que permiten cumplir con los
objetivos a largo, con la finalidad de alcanzar la visión planteada, dentro de las cuales se
privilegian estrategias intensivas de desarrollo de mercados y de productos.
Las estrategias propuestas en el presente planeamiento estratégico se concentran en
desarrollar nuevos productos destinados a distintos segmentos y tendenciales mundiales, con
el fin de crecer en mercados actuales e ingresar a nuevos mercados. Con dichas estrategias se
conseguirá incrementar el volumen de ventas de cosméticos peruanos, contribuir en el
crecimiento de empleabilidad nacional, e incrementar la rentabilidad y el consumo per cápita
local de cosméticos. De esta manera, la industria de cosméticos peruana se podría convertir
en la más atractiva de Latinoamérica en términos de crecimiento en ingresos.
Es importante señalar que el desarrollo de la industria de cosméticos peruana requiere,
además, del desarrollo de sectores comunes, por lo cual también se propone la creación de
clústeres, tanto para producción como distribución
The present document contains the strategic planning of the Peruvian cosmetics industry, as a result of a rigorous analysis of external and internal factors of that industry, which allowed to identify its main opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses. The present work includes different matrices that allowed to elaborate and to select the main strategies in order to fulfill the long objectives, with the purpose of reaching the vision raised, within which intensive strategies of market and product development are favored. The strategies proposed in the present strategic planning concentrate on developing new products destined to different segments and global trends, in order to grow in current markets and enter new markets. These strategies will increase the volume of sales of Peruvian cosmetics, contribute to the growth of national employability, and increase profitability and local per capita consumption of cosmetics. In this way, the Peruvian cosmetics industry could become the most attractive in Latin America in terms of growth in income. It is important to note that the development of the Peruvian cosmetics industry also requires the development of common sectors, which is why it is also proposed to create clusters for both production and distribution
