Resumen
La propuesta del valor compartido ha suscitado interés en años recientes, sin embargo
las firmas locales que componen el rubro bancario han omitido el asunto en su accionar y ello
resulta desconcertante debido al influyente rol que esta industria posee para el país. Es por tal
motivo que se ha identificado la necesidad de realizar una investigación considerando sólo a
los principales bancos, con la finalidad de conocer la manera como llevan a cabo sus
actividades desde la perspectiva tanto de la generación de valor como de la gestión de
stakeholders. El propósito general de la investigación fue identificar el nivel de conocimiento
y de aplicación de valor compartido en el sector bancario peruano en el 2015. Para lo cual se
procedió a realizar una encuesta de manera presencial a altos directivos de los principales
bancos.
El estudio encontró que existen pocos avances respecto a la creación del valor
compartido, de igual manera se identificó que en la mayoría de las empresas analizadas la
implementación es totalmente nula. Los resultados alcanzados reflejaron que entre los
directivos encuestados, quienes laboran en las principales compañías que operan en el rubro
bancario del país, existe un bajo conocimiento sobre la forma de conseguir la creación de
valor compartido. Adicionalmente, las firmas referidas describieron que su gobernanza y
transparencia se rige por cuestiones legales o asociadas con el cumplimiento de estándares,
con la finalidad de conseguir legitimidad en relación a su accionar. Las organizaciones
mencionadas, sumado al bajo conocimiento del tema, también presentan un bajo nivel de
implementación de conceptos vinculados con el valor compartido, aunque demuestran hacer
algunos esfuerzos en proponer valor, orientándose para esto de manera especial, en los
empleados y los consumidores, lo cual de alguna manera les ha generado cierto beneficio a
nivel de reputación.
The proposal of shared value has generated interest in recent years, however the firms that make up the banking sector have omitted the issue in their actions and the result is baffling due to the influential role that this industry has for the country. this is the reason why it has been identified the need to carry out an investigation considering only principal banks to know the way how it carry out their activities from both perspectives: the value generation as the stakeholders management. The general research purpose was identify the knowledge level and the shared value in the Peruvian banking sector in 2015. To achieve this goal it has been made a survey for the managers of the main banks. The results show that there are few advances about shared value creation, at the same time it has been identified that in most of the companies analyzed the implementation is null. The results show that among managers surveyed, there are a little knowledge level about the way to get the share value creation. Besides, companies have shown that their governance and transparency are governed by legal issues or associated with the accomplished standards to obtain legitimacy in relation to their actions. Also, the mentioned organizations have presented a lack of implementation of the concepts related to the shared value, although they demonstrate some efforts in proposing value mainly focusing in employees and consumers, which in some way has generated them certain brand benefit
