Modelo ProLab: “TuProfe, una solución digital que pone a disposición tutores para reforzar los cursos en los que los estudiantes de educación secundaria necesiten apoyo”

Resumen
En la actualidad, los padres de familia de estudiantes de educación secundaria tienen a
su disposición una amplia oferta educativa de acuerdo con su nivel socioeconómico; sin
embargo, la calidad de enseñanza de algunos colegios es deficiente y no equitativa. Esto
ocasiona que los estudiantes se queden con ciertas dudas durante su proceso de aprendizaje,
las mismas que se acentúan al momento de hacer tareas o rendir exámenes por lo que muchas
veces tienden a buscar apoyo, pero este no es de inmediato o, si lo encuentran, no es el más
eficiente. En consecuencia, los miembros de la familia se ven impactados económica y
socialmente.
El presente proyecto, en el cual se aplicó la metodología Design Thinking, logra
empatizar con este usuario a través de entrevistas y encuestas que permitieron identificar sus
puntos de dolor y terminaron en la propuesta de valor de TuProfe. Esta solución consiste en
una plataforma web educativa en la cual el estudiante podrá resolver sus dudas a través de un
staff de profesionales certificados en educación con metodologías innovadoras, agendando
con disponibilidad inmediata las sesiones que necesite para reforzar sus conocimientos. Cabe
resaltar que en el mercado peruano no existe una empresa que ofrezca las mismas
características que se brindan en esta solución.
Finalmente, se analizó la inversión inicial de S/ 281 mil y los flujos de efectivo
proyectados en un horizonte de cinco años, generan un VAN de S/ 3.44 millones por lo que
se concluye que el proyecto es viable.
Today, parents of high school students have a wide educational offer according to their socioeconomic level; however, the quality of teaching in some schools is deficient and inequitable. This causes students to have certain doubts during their learning process, accentuated when doing homework or taking exams. Therefore, often they seek support, but response does not come immediately or, if they find it, it is not the best fit. Consequently, family members are impacted economically and socially. This project, where Design Thinking methodology was applied, manages to empathize with this user through interviews and surveys that allowed their pain points to be identified and ended in the value proposition of TuProfe. This solution presents an educational web platform where the student can solve their doubts through a staff of professionals certified in education with innovative methodologies, scheduling the sessions they need to reinforce their knowledge with immediate availability. It should be noted that in the Peruvian market there is no company that offers the same characteristics that are provided in this solution. Finally, the initial investment of S/ 281 k and the cash flows projected in a five-year horizon, generate a NPV of S/ 3.44 million. Therefore, we conclude that our project is feasible.
